A Master of the Tang Dynasty Secret For over 20 years, Karen Chen graced the stage of the China National Opera & Dance Theater as a senior soloist. A protégé of the legendary Zhao Qing, Karen journeyed into the history of the Tang Dynasty to uncover the "thousand-year silk dance secret," reviving an exotic art form once thought to be extinct.
Coming to New York in 1988, She continued dance for American audience. For close to 20 years, she performed all over US, including Disney Land in Orlando and Medison Square Garden in New York.
大唐遗韵的守护者 陈帼老师曾任中国歌剧舞剧院资深独舞演员，从艺二十余载。她师从著名舞蹈家赵青，潜心研读文献，挖掘出失传已久的唐代“千里绸”秘笈，让这一古老而瑰丽的艺术形式重放异彩。1988年到纽约， 她继续为美国观众演出近20载，其中包括在奥兰多的迪斯尼和纽约MSQ体育场
A Life in Letters 作家生涯
Now retired from the stage, Karen continues her artistic journey as an accomplished poet and author. Her published works include two volumes of Chinese poetry and a sweeping memoir documenting the life of her father, Chen Chen, a pioneering war photographer and movie cinematographer in 1930s China.
退役后的陈老师笔耕不辍，现为知名作家与诗人。她已出版两部诗集，并撰写了一部宏大的回忆录，记录了其父——中国第一代战地摄影师及电影摄影师陈晨先生的传奇人生。
